Fred Marshall is the Founder and Chief Alchemist of Green Alchemy, a consultancy dedicated to helping organizations navigate the complexities of sustainability, ESG compliance, and practical environmental responsibility. Drawing on decades of leadership experience across the Middle East and Africa, Fred brings a grounded, real-world approach to problem-solving and sustainable business transformation.
Over the course of his career, Fred has worked extensively in high-risk industries such as rope access, construction, and industrial maintenance. His leadership roles have included managing multi-national teams, securing international certifications such as ISO and IRATA, and delivering complex access solutions in demanding environments. These experiences have shaped his practical, safety-first mindset—an approach he now applies to guiding businesses through the emerging demands of ESG and sustainability reporting.
Fred’s recent studies in Sustainability Management at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) have further sharpened his ability to translate global frameworks into regionally and operationally relevant action plans. He specializes in helping startups, SMEs, and industrial businesses understand and improve their carbon footprint, particularly Scope 3 emissions, while integrating sustainability into core operations.
